The purpose of this study was to evaluate the performance Hohenheim Aceh type solar tunnel dryer with application proportional integral derivative (PID) controller for outlet fans . instrumentations used were Aceh, HTC-meter, anemometer, pyranometer, and other supporting equipment s results showed that during drying process irradiation had fluctuat ed , where average 649 W/m 2 temperature in chamber is 40.6°C while environment 32.9°C. Conditions suitable because inside relatively higher than ambient temperature. relative humidity ( RH ) 36% about 40% T he relationship between value negative strong indicated bu r-value 0.7379 On hand, t positive also indicating energy source from an R -square 86.02 % 0.92747 PID improved by preventing incident unproper However, airflow too low thus further engineering design needed improve system.
